Full Stack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE You'll build and maintain the backend services that power our tokenization platform — a project at the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized finance. This is a backend-first role with full-stack responsibilities: you'll design robust APIs and services, and step into the frontend (React) when full-stack ownership is needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScript - Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and full-stack ownership when needed - Optimize existing services for performance and reliability, ensuring a smooth user experience - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement - Engage in agile development practices, including sprint planning and backlog grooming ROLE REQUIREMENTS - 4+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript - Proficiency in React for full-stack responsibilities, ensuring a cohesive development process - Experience building and maintaining backend APIs and services, with a strong understanding of RESTful principles - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to both backend and occasional full-stack tasks NICE TO HAVES - Experience working in the US fintech ecosystem, providing insights into industry standards and practices - Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies to enhance service scalability - Knowledge of database management and optimization techniques BENEFITS - Competitive salary and equity - Comprehensive health benefits - Flexible work environment - Opportunities for professional development To apply: send your résumé to careers@vinylequity.com
