Senior Full Stack Engineer (BCN)

Lexroom http://lexroom.ai/ is building the AI platform where legal work gets done. In just over two years, we've grown from zero to €25M ARR, and today more than 20,000 legal professionals across Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Bulgaria rely on Lexroom http://lexroom.ai/. We're backed by $73M from Left Lane Capital, Base10 Partners, and Eurazeo, and we're a team of around 300 builders who move fast, say things straight, and own each outcome. Our next goal? Become Europe's most-used legal product.   WHY LEXROOM http://lexroom.ai/? - Shape the Standard: Be part of the team setting the benchmark for legal AI in Europe. - Work with the Best: Collaborate with exceptional colleagues in a culture that values competence, curiosity, and ambition. - Deliver Meaningful Results: Your contribution will directly influence how legal professionals work—faster, clearer, and more efficiently. At Lexroom http://lexroom.ai/, we leave buzzwords behind. Here, you’ll build something that lasts: a trusted platform, a strong reputation, a new standard for the legal world. THE ROLE You will be one of the senior engineers in a squad of four to five, with a product manager and a designer. You will make the technical decisions for what the squad ships, own those decisions in production, and help the engineers around you get better. Impact is defined by vision and execution, not by age or title. You will work across the whole stack. We expect you to be deep on one side and fluent enough on the other to ship a feature alone when needed. If you are a strong backend engineer who has never touched React, or a strong frontend engineer who has never written Python, apply: we hire for judgment and curiosity, and we will tailor the interviews to where you are strongest.   WHAT YOU'LL BRING - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least one system you owned end to end. Years alone are not the requirement; the evidence is. - You have shipped and operated systems that real users depended on, and you can tell us what broke, what it cost and what you changed. - You use AI coding tools every day (Claude Code, Cursor or similar) and you can say precisely where they were wrong and how you caught it. - You review other people’s code as a habit, and people get better from your reviews. - You speak and write English fluently: it is our working language across teams and countries. Italian is a plus. OUR STACK Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, Python (Django and Django Ninja) on the backend, Postgres and vector stores, LLM pipelines built on our own AI platform, deployed on the cloud with GitHub Actions. You do not need to know all of it. You need to be able to learn the part you don’t know in weeks, not quarters.   THIS ROLE IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF - You have never been responsible for something running in production. - You want a well-defined ticket to implement and someone else to decide. - You see full-stack work as a compromise rather than as the way to ship.   WHAT SETS US APART An Exceptional Team At http://lexroom.ai/Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai, you’ll work alongside top talent in tech and legal AI. Our focused teams operate with purpose and autonomy, so every contribution delivers visible results. You’ll collaborate with people who pair innovation with rigor, curiosity with discipline, ambition with depth. Growth that Matters We hire exceptional people to make a difference—and we give them space to lead. Your work will shape the future of legal technology and set new standards for the field. Impact is defined by vision and execution, not by age or title. If you’re ready to take responsibility, you’ll find real opportunities to grow and lead high-stakes projects. Rewarding Your Contribution We value excellence and share success: - Annual Salary Range: €50,000 – €80,000 - Equity Package: Align your growth with the company’s long-term success. BENEFITS THAT MATTER - Hybrid Work: Flexibility to balance remote work with in-person collaboration at our Barcelona office. - Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to ensure peace of mind. - Meal Vouchers: Daily support to make your lunch breaks easier. - Performance Bonuses: Rewards tied directly to measurable results. - Team Retreats & Off-sites: Dedicated time to connect, collaborate, and spark bold ideas. At Lexroom http://lexroom.ai/, ambition meets discipline and purpose. We’re not just building a product—we’re setting a new standard for the legal world. If you’re ready to contribute to something lasting and meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
