Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai is building the AI platform where legal work gets done. In just over two years, we've grown from zero to €25M ARR, and today more than 20,000 legal professionals across Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Bulgaria rely on Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai. We're backed by $73M from Left Lane Capital, Base10 Partners, and Eurazeo, and we're a team of around 300 builders who move fast, say things straight, and own each outcome. Our next goal? Become Europe's most-used legal product.   WHY LEXROOM http://Lexroom.ai? - Shape the Standard: Be part of the team setting the benchmark for legal AI in Europe. - Work with the Best: Collaborate with exceptional colleagues in a culture that values competence, curiosity, and ambition. - Deliver Meaningful Results: Your work will directly influence how legal professionals operate—faster, clearer, and more efficiently. At Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai, we leave buzzwords behind. Here, you’ll build something that lasts: a trusted platform, a strong reputation, a new standard for the legal world. THE ROLE As we bring accounting in-house and prepare for our first audit, we are looking for an Accountant to build the accounting engine behind our Finance team. You’ll report to our Finance lead and own the process that gets us reliable numbers every month, working with one of the first AI-first accounting platforms adopted in Italy. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Accounting Internalization: Bring Italian accounting in-house from January, starting with a dry run in December and working with our external accountants through the transition. - Monthly Close: Own the tasks that get us to a monthly close within 10 business days: invoice registration, bank reconciliations, and pre-close checks. - AI-First Accounting Tooling: Set up our accounting platform (Light), make sure what goes in and what comes out is right, and push automation further every month. - Invoicing Control: Make sure every deal is invoiced and every invoice is checked and recorded, increasing the share of invoicing that runs automatically. - Audit Readiness & International Entities: Keep the books audit-ready and support the accounting setup with local accountants across our European entities. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Accounting Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, ideally in a Big Four firm or in a startup or scale-up. - Monthly Close: Direct experience contributing to monthly closes and reconciliations on tight deadlines. - Control Mindset: A sharp eye for errors and the habit of checking the numbers before anyone asks. - Builder & Automation Mindset: You build processes rather than just follow them, and you’re curious about how software and AI can remove manual work. - Location & Language: Based in or willing to relocate to Milan (hybrid model). Fluent in English and Italian. WHAT SETS US APART An Exceptional Team At Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai, you’ll work alongside top talent in tech and legal AI. Our focused teams operate with purpose and autonomy, so every contribution delivers visible results. You’ll collaborate with people who pair innovation with rigor, curiosity with discipline, ambition with depth. Growth that Matters We hire exceptional people to make a difference—and we give them space to lead. Your work will shape the future of legal technology and set new standards for the field. Impact is defined by vision and execution, not by age or title. If you’re ready to take responsibility, you’ll find real opportunities to grow and lead high-stakes projects.   REWARDING YOUR CONTRIBUTION We value excellence and share success: - Compensation: €38,000–42,000 gross per year - Variable: tied to team and individual objectives - Equity Package: Align your growth with the company’s long-term success. BENEFITS THAT MATTER - Hybrid Work: Flexibility to balance remote work, with 3 days in-person collaboration at our Milan HQ - Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to ensure peace of mind. - Meal Vouchers: Daily support to make your lunch breaks easier. - Team Retreats & Off-sites: Dedicated time to connect, collaborate, and spark bold ideas. At Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai, ambition meets discipline and purpose. We’re not just building a product—we’re setting a new standard for the legal world. If you’re ready to contribute to something lasting and meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
