Talent Operations Associate

ABOUT BROCCOLI 🥦 At Broccoli, we're building AI teammates for the people who build and maintain our world. We partner with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors, the hardworking businesses that keep homes and communities running, and replace fragmented software and repetitive manual work with AI that actually gets the job done. Our AI teammates answer phones, book appointments, follow up with customers, recover missed revenue, and help contractors deliver exceptional customer experiences, all while integrating seamlessly with platforms like ServiceTitan. Before we wrote a single line of code, we visited more than 140 contractors to understand how these businesses truly operate. That firsthand experience shaped everything we've built. Today: - Hundreds of contractors rely on Broccoli every day. - We've grown to $20M+ ARR in under two years. - We're trusted by everyone from independent contractors to some of the largest private equity backed operators in the home services industry. - We're backed by Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator. We're still just getting started. THE ROLE We’re hiring a Talent Operations Associate to help Broccoli scale. You’ll support recruiting across a range of roles and teams, spanning interview coordination, operations, sourcing, and recruiting events. You'll also help build the workflows, templates, and systems that make recruiting faster and more consistent across the company. This is an opportunity to take real ownership at an early-stage startup, work closely with recruiters and leadership, and help shape how we hire. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Coordinate phone screens, interviews, onsites, and final rounds across multiple departments, juggling competing priorities and last-minute changes. - Help build and improve our recruiting processes, including interview templates, email templates, scorecards, and workflows in Ashby. - Keep Ashby up to date with accurate candidate records, interview stages, and feedback so we have a clear picture of our hiring pipeline. - Follow up with interviewers on feedback, flag bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to keep candidates moving through the process. - Coordinate onsites from start to finish, including agendas, work samples, interview panels, interviewer prep, and the candidate experience. - Keep candidates informed throughout the process with timely communication, clear next steps, and a positive experience. - Help coordinate offers, reference checks, and handoffs to our HR team for onboarding. - As you get comfortable in the role, you'll have opportunities to take on additional recruiting responsibilities, such as phone screens, sourcing, and other areas of the recruiting process. - Plan and run recruiting events, such as candidate dinners, meetups, and campus sessions, that grow our pipeline and put Broccoli in front of the people we want to hire. WHAT YOU’LL BRING - Background in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or a similar fast-paced role involving high-volume scheduling and stakeholder management. At least one year of interview coordination experience in-house or at an agency. - Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment without letting details slip. - A track record of improving a process, building a workflow, or creating a system that made a team more effective. - A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate what needs to happen next without waiting for direction. - Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over accurate systems and data. - Clear, warm communication skills and the ability to work effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and executives. - An interest in building a career in recruiting and developing new skills beyond coordination over time. - Comfort owning an event end to end, from idea and logistics to the day itself and what comes after. - 5+ years of experience working in a recruiting coordinating or talent operation role NICE TO HAVE - Experience supporting hiring across multiple departments, such as sales, engineering, customer success, and operations, including high-volume roles. - Previously worked at a high-growth startup, recruiting agency, or staffing firm. - Familiarity with an ATS like Ashby, particularly building workflows, managing interview processes, or maintaining recruiting reports within an ATS. - Exposure to sourcing or phone screening candidates.
