ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer on a 6-month contract to help our Serverless Containers team ship new features to Verda Cloud. You will work remotely from Poland with a team spread across Helsinki and Europe. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Design and build backend services in Go or Python - Improve reliability and performance of our container platform - Write clear technical documentation and code reviews - Work with product and infrastructure teams on delivery plans WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - 6+ years building backend systems in production - Experience with Kubernetes, containers and cloud APIs - Comfortable working independently on a contract basis - Able to overlap with Central European working hours PRACTICAL DETAILS - Contract: B2B contractor agreement, 6 months with option to extend - Location: remote, Poland - Rate: hourly, invoiced monthly WHAT'S NEXT We're building fast and this role needs the right person behind it.
