Account Executive - APAC

Hi! 👋 I’m Josh, Sales Manager for Australia 🇦🇺 at WeTravel. I joined WeTravel last year to launch WeTravel Australia, and it’s been an exciting (and fun!) journey building our very first local team from the ground up. My goal is to create a high-performing, collaborative team that’s genuinely passionate about what we do. The APAC region is a growing, high-potential market for WeTravel — and with this new team, we have a lot of exciting opportunities ahead of us. Right now, we’re looking for an Account Executive to join us to round out our sales teams. If you’re into travel, fintech, and building real relationships, this could be an amazing fit. At WeTravel, we help multi-day and group tour operators streamline bookings and payments — so they can focus on creating unforgettable experiences.   How We Work At WeTravel, our Sales teams combine autonomy with strong collaboration. As an Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle — from initial outreach and discovery calls to product demos, closing deals, and smoothly handing off to onboarding. We focus on understanding each client's unique needs and aligning our solutions to match. You won’t just sell — you’ll guide and support potential customers in discovering how WeTravel (products) can truly help their business thrive. We value proactive, solution-oriented individuals who aren’t afraid to take initiative, spot opportunities, and act on them (especially for a new market like Australia). Our teams move fast, support one another, and celebrate wins together — big and small. You’ll spend most of your time doing what actually moves the needle: prospecting, demoing, and following up with qualified leads.   You should apply if you: - Have 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or the travel industry (within Australia/APAC region). - Are fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus. - Possess excellent communication and presentation skills. - Are comfortable making outbound calls (this will be important with a new market like Australia) and conducting product demos. - Have experience managing the full sales cycle and achieving sales targets. - Are self-motivated (we love self starters!) and goal-oriented. - Are willing to travel up to 10% for client visits. You might not be the right fit if you: - Prefer a highly structured environment with constant supervision. - Are uncomfortable with outbound sales activities and cold calling. - Lack experience in consultative selling or managing the full sales cycle. - Are not self-driven and need lots of guidance.   On a Weekly Basis You Will Find Yourself - Prospecting and reaching out to potential clients in the travel industry. - Conducting product demonstrations and highlighting the value of WeTravel's platform. - Managing the sales pipeline and closing deals to meet or exceed targets. - Collaborating with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients. - Providing feedback to the product team based on client interactions and needs.   Benefits - Minimum 4 days at office (access to Wework) with flexibility of a work-from-home day a week - Generous "Time to Recharge" policy — enjoy unlimited paid time off to rest, recharge, and show up as your best self. - Amsterdam Program – visit us in Amsterdam (HQ) for 2-4 weeks every year, staying in one of our WeTravel apartments. - Work remotely for a maximum of 4 weeks per calendar year. (Although this is a remote role, employees are hired into a designated country of employment. Our Work From Anywhere benefit provides eligible employees with up to four weeks per calendar year to work temporarily from another approved location.) - Extensive paid family leave. - Superannuation. - Three paid volunteer days per year — take time to give back to causes you care about, on us. - 2-week cross-functional onboarding program. - Cutting-edge equipment and tools to set you up for success. - Join an international, travel-loving team with a passion for adventure and innovation.   Please note: - For this role, we can only consider candidates who have the full legal right to work in the country this role is advertised for (citizenship or residency). Unfortunately, WeTravel is not able to offer visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time. EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES WeTravel is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. If you're excited about this opportunity and believe you're a good fit, we encourage you to apply and join us in transforming the travel industry!
