Developer Relations Engineer

DEVELOPER RELATIONS ENGINEER $130k – $180k • meaningful equity ABOUT NOVIG Novig is building America's #1 sports prediction market. Our mission is to financialize and democratize sports trading - taking a closed system run by casinos and turning it into a fair, efficient, two-sided market where the power sits with users. With Novig recently becoming a CFTC-designated market — the fastest designation of its kind in US history— we're bringing the prediction market built for sports fans nationwide. We're backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors — Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana — who have collectively invested over $100M behind this vision. ABOUT THE ROLE This is the role for someone who wants to be the technical backbone behind every trading partner plugged into Novig's exchange. You'll own the technical relationship with market makers and liquidity providers, trading firms, and B2B or embedded partners integrating our APIs, sitting between them and our engineering team while also getting hands-on in the codebase yourself, shipping PRs and hot fixes as part of the job. You'll give each of our LPs the same detailed, high-touch support we're known for, and as we keep scaling, you'll help build the muscle to hold onto that same responsiveness with more partners than ever. WHO YOU ARE You're plugged into the community — Discord, Telegram, wherever the conversation happens — whether or not you work in the space professionally. Requirements: Hands-on experience with prediction market APIs (setting up an RFQ pricer is a plus). Fluency in limit orders and order types, with the ability to hold your own in conversations with liquidity providers. Ideally you've built your own bots or tools, and you have a real interest in prediction markets and sports trading. WHAT YOU’LL DO - You're the technical anchor for everyone plugged into Novig's exchange, including future market makers, liquidity providers, trading firms, and B2B partners integrating our APIs - You sit between trading, ops, and engineering, fielding technical questions so nothing gets lost in translation - You can write code to effectively replicate and validate any API issues flagged by our partners. - You take ownership of the partner experience, from the first technical conversation through ongoing support, so every integration gets the same level of care as our very first one WHY WORK HERE, IN THE WORDS OF THE PEOPLE WHO DO “I work with extremely stellar people, I own real systems, and decisions happen fast. No politics, no waiting for needless red tape. If something's broken, I fix it. If I build something good, it ships.” “The people! They're smart, thoughtful, fun to work with and passionate about their craft.” “I'm having the most fun I've had in my entire career.” If you want responsibility, trust, and the chance to help build the future of sports prediction markets - take your shot, we’d love to connect. NOT FOR EVERYONE - Our work is tied to live sports - that means potential nights, weekends, and pressure included. - If you need clear swim lanes, a heavy process, or someone to tell you what to do, this won’t be the right environment.
