Senior Software Engineer

WHO ARE WE? At UpGuard, we are replacing manual security bottlenecks with AI-driven precision. Fresh off a US$75M Series C, we are scaling our infrastructure to process 100 billion risk signals daily. This isn’t just growth; it’s a total reimagining of how the world manages cyber risk.   We build the Cyber Risk Posture Management (CRPM) platform that security teams actually love. By integrating security ratings, threat intel, and agentic AI, we empower organisations to stay ahead of an ever evolving attack surface.   We aren’t just building another tool; we’re defining a category. We provide the autonomy to ship world-class technology and the resources to do it at a global scale. About the role We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own a feature area within our Product Engineering team. You'll be the engineer your product manager turns to for "is this possible, and how big is it", leading technical design for your area and seeing it through to production. You'll shape how your squad builds, mentor the engineers around you, and have real influence over what we ship for customers who depend on us to understand their cyber risk. You'll join one of our 11 (and growing) Product Engineering squads, most of which have a product manager, designer and technical lead alongside the engineers. Our stack is React and TypeScript on the front end, Go services with Postgres as our primary database, running on Kubernetes via Google Cloud Platform. Our engineers work with agentic coding tools, mostly Claude Code and Cursor, and a growing part of the product is LLM-backed. You'll work this way from day one, and we'll want your ideas on what to automate next, from how we write code to how we test, review, ship and run it. We're also hiring Mid https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/upguard/78833788-91da-47b4-a313-07ad5c68428c and Staff https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/upguard/8dc6c4a1-fd78-497f-b81f-7afa9df1ca41 Software Engineers.
