Accounts Receivable Manager (13-month Contract)

About Us At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again". Prenuvo is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager (13-month Contract) to step into a full-time interim role while a member of our Finance team is on extended leave. Beyond keeping day-to-day billing operations running smoothly, this role carries a mandate to critically assess and revamp our end-to-end Accounts Receivable process — from invoicing through collections to close — across a multi-entity, multi-currency healthcare organization. You'll be trusted to drive outcomes independently from day one, working closely with Finance, Sales, and Development leadership. This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future). Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives! What You'll Do AR Process Transformation • Assess the current end-to-end AR process — invoicing, collections, billing systems, and month-end close — and identify structural gaps, inefficiencies, and risk points • Design and implement a revamped AR process, including updated workflows, controls, and documentation that will outlast the interim term • Bring in leading practices from prior roles to modernize how AR is run, balancing quick wins with durable, scalable process design • Build the case for changes with Finance leadership and drive adoption across the teams the new process touches Invoicing & Billing Systems • Take full ownership of the end-to-end invoicing cycle — generating and distributing monthly and ad hoc B2B invoices, validating accuracy, and processing adjustments and credits with care • Maintain clean, reliable customer billing records that stay aligned with contract terms and delivered services, and identify opportunities to tighten controls as you go • Administer billing operations across Stripe and NetSuite, including customer accounts, payment methods, ACH/direct debit authorizations, payment links, refunds, credits, and account consolidations • Act as the senior escalation point for billing, payment, invoicing, and synchronization issues spanning Stripe, NetSuite, and Salesforce • Lead Finance's side of the Stripe–NetSuite connector project, working directly with Engineering to shape how the two systems are integrated Collections • Own the aging receivables portfolio end to end, setting the pace on proactive follow-up for overdue accounts • Field customer payment inquiries and resolve billing disputes with professionalism, clarity, and sound judgment • Negotiate payment arrangements where appropriate, and exercise independent judgment on escalating higher-risk accounts to protect cash flow and minimize outstanding AR Travel Platform Administration (Egencia) • Oversee platform access and permissions in a single sign-on (SSO) environment, stepping in for exceptions that fall outside automated provisioning • Support travelers with profile and permission questions, troubleshoot booking issues, and liaise with the vendor when needed Month-End Close Support • Reconcile AR balances, prepare supporting reports, and contribute accounting entries and audit documentation during month-end close, with minimal oversight What You’ll Bring • 4-5 years experience leading an AR or credit control process transformation, ideally within a multi-entity or multi-currency environment • Significant, demonstrated experience in AR, collections, or B2B invoicing, including time in a manager or lead capacity • Deep, hands-on NetSuite fluency is essential; strong working knowledge of Stripe is expected • A confident, senior collaborator who can represent Finance credibly with Sales, Development, and Legal leadership, and who can step into an ambiguous transition with minimal ramp-up • Comfortable diagnosing broken or outdated processes and building the case for change, not just running the process as-is • Experience in healthcare, imaging, or another regulated industry is a plus, though not required • Proven ability to support external audit requests and prepare accounting entries and reconciliations during close with a high degree of independence Our Values First: we are Pioneers • Transforming healthcare requires divergent thinking, bias for action, disciplined experimentation, and consistent grit and determination to maintain momentum. This journey is as challenging as it is rewarding. Second: we are Platform-Builders • We’re always building foundations that allow us to achieve tomorrow more than we did today. We never lose sight of what’s ahead – in a mindset of ownership and duty to our mission. Above all: we are Patients • We could all be the next person who walks through our very doors, seeking clarity or peace of mind. We are proud of our impact on our patients’ lives, and we won’t stop till everyone can benefit from our work. What We Offer • An avenue to make a positive impact on people's lives and their health • The base salary for this role ranges from $70,000-$82,000 in local currency, depending upon experience and geographic location We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
