Product Marketing Manager

WHO WE ARE Serval http://serval.com is an AI-native automation platform transforming how enterprises operate. We build intelligent agents that understand real-world workflows and execute them end-to-end — replacing manual processes and rigid legacy systems with adaptive, learning software. Founded in early 2024, Serval is already trusted by companies like Fox, Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, and Brex to automate high-volume, high-friction operational work across their organizations. At the core of Serval is an agentic AI platform that turns natural language into production-grade workflows. Our agents don’t just respond to requests — they reason, take action across systems, and continuously improve with usage. What began with operational use cases has quickly evolved into a horizontal AI automation layer used across IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and Engineering. Our mission is to eliminate repetitive, manual work across the enterprise and give teams leverage through intelligent automation. Long term, we’re building the universal AI operations layer — a system of agents that sits across business functions and runs the workflows that keep modern companies moving. We’re backed by leading investors including Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Meritech, First Round, General Catalyst, Elad Gil, and others. ABOUT THE ROLE: Serval is hiring a Product Marketing Manager to build and scale our sales enablement engine. Unlike traditional PMM roles that focus on blogs and webpages, this role sits directly on the critical path of revenue generation: helping Account Executives ramp faster, deliver stronger demos, and confidently communicate Serval's value in enterprise sales cycles. Customer perception of Serval is primarily shaped through conversations with our Sales team. A core responsibility of this role is translating complex AI capabilities into messaging, narratives, and enablement materials that AEs can quickly internalize. You'll build a scalable onboarding and everboarding curriculum as well as high-leverage assets such as discovery guides and cheatsheets that accelerate AE ramp time as we grow from 20 to 200 sellers and beyond. And because we build agentic AI, you'll be expected to use it: over time, this role evolves from hand-crafting every asset to designing the system that produces them, turning each feature we ship into ready-to-use enablement automatically. WHO YOU ARE: The ideal candidate for this role is a product marketer with high technical aptitude, strong public speaking skills, and a track record of working closely with Sales in B2B technology companies. You'll be a great fit if: - You're excited to get in the weeds with engineers and understand the technology as deeply as a PM would (fun fact: we don't have PMs at Serval by design) - You're energized by the idea of getting up on stage and presenting to 50 AEs - You find joy in distilling a set of complex ideas into a one-pager cheatsheet without losing the essence - You learn at breakneck speed, because we ship new features at a high velocity - You're the kind of person who, after doing a task twice by hand, immediately asks "how do I get an agent to do this for me?" - You're a problem solver at heart who will wake up every day thinking "How do I make reps productive faster?" We're considering candidates at multiple levels, from Product Marketing Manager to Senior Product Marketing Manager, and will align the role title and scope based on experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Build and scale the sales enablement program, including the onboarding curriculum, demo certification, objection handling, and competitive education - Improve sales ramp time and effectiveness by creating high-impact content such as one-pagers and cheatsheets, then turn your best assets into reusable templates and repeatable systems rather than one-off deliverables - Translate complex product capabilities into clear messaging, sales narratives, and customer-facing value propositions that AEs can quickly internalize and deliver confidently - Partner closely with Engineering and Sales leadership to ensure AEs are prepared to position and sell new capabilities effectively, and establish a workflow that converts every release note and product update into draft enablement within days, not weeks - Identify friction points in the sales process and build assets that help move deals forward - Listen to Gong calls regularly to understand what's working / what's not, then design agentic AI workflows that mine those calls at scale: auto-surfacing emerging objections, competitive mentions, and winning talk tracks so enablement updates itself based on what's actually happening in the field - Prototype, deploy, and own an AI-powered enablement engine: agents that draft cheatsheets, certification scripts, and training modules from product specs, Gong insights, and your messaging frameworks, with you setting the standards, reviewing the output, and keeping quality high - Become the internal model for how a modern enablement function operates: measurably more output per person, faster time-to-ramp, and an enablement library that stays current automatically as Serval ships WHAT YOU'LL NEED: - 3+ years of product marketing experience at a high-growth B2B technology company, with sales enablement being a key component - This role will be leveled according to the number of years of experience - Strong oral and written communication for various audiences, including technical content - Comfort using AI tools in your daily workflow and genuine excitement about building agentic systems to scale your own output (direct experience is a plus, aptitude and appetite are required) - Willingness to travel domestically to train AEs at other offices - Bachelor's required WHAT WE OFFER - Impact: Be a key player in shaping the success of our product and company. - Growth: Build a fundamentally new AI product offering with the support of our experienced team and investors. Grow rapidly with the company. - Culture: Join a culture that values innovation, ownership, accountability, and fun.
