Today, over 1,500 customers run on Nooks, including Notion, HubSpot, Cursor, and Rippling. We’ve raised $70M+ from top VCs like Kleiner Perkins, which made its first sales-tech investment in over a decade with us. We're looking for someone who has: - 3+ years of practical experience in a People or HR-related role - ideally in a high-growth startup environment. - Detail-oriented and data-driven mindset - ability to identify potential areas of improvement in our operational cadence. - Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple recurring processes, deadlines, and employee needs simultaneously. - Experience owning or significantly contributing to employee onboarding and lifecycle operations. - Working knowledge of employee leaves and core employment compliance requirements. - Experience administering employee benefits and partnering with benefits brokers and vendors. - System-mindset - look for ways to simplify, automate, document, and improve processes - Proactivity in problem-solving - you don’t just spot gaps; you fill them. Nice to haves: - Knowledge of HR compliance and regulations. - Direct involvement in scaling startups from early-stage to larger organizational structures. - Experience with HRIS systems, people analytics tools, and large datasets. You might be a great fit if: You care about both sides of People Operations: operational rigor and employee experience. You want the data to be right, the process to be scalable, and the employee on the other end to feel supported. You’re excited to join a small People team where you’ll have real ownership, broad exposure, and the opportunity to build systems that will support the next stage of Nooks’ growth!
