Account Executive II

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2026 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team? About the role Flex is on a mission to change the way bills get paid - and we're looking for a sales rockstar to help us get there. As we rapidly expand into new markets, we need an experienced closer who's ready to own their number and build something real. We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, relentless grit, humility, and curiosity; someone who sees ambiguity as an opportunity, not a roadblock. If you're an established sales pro who wants to help build a once-in-a-generation company, let's talk. Where you'll work: This role is hybrid out of our Salt Lake City office, and you'll be in with the team 3 days a week. We're big believers that some of the best coaching, energy, and deals happen in person (and honestly, the team is pretty fun to be around). As a bonus, you'll get a Grubhub credit for lunch on the days you're in the office. Where you'll travel: Beyond SLC, you'll get out of the office for company offsites in Mexico, Sales Kickoff in Florida, conferences and client meetings across the US - think big wins, big energy, and time to connect with the team and clients in-person. What you’ll do • You'll win new clients, driving revenue and market share across the rental real estate space • You'll manage a robust pipeline in our CRM, keeping it sharp and up to date • You'll establish relationships with senior executives and decision-makers through smart, persistent outbound efforts • You'll own the full sales cycle, from first conversation to signed contract • You'll educate prospective customers on the real value of a Flex partnership • You'll navigate key decision-makers to grow awareness across an organization • You'll negotiate and close new and expansion contracts yourself • You'll collaborate with our Accounts team to shape strategic adoption plans for new customers You could be a great fit if • You practice clear, concise communication. You write effective emails. You're skilled at executing outbound strategies that target property management companies, and you want the opportunity to lead the way in pipeline creation • You have a deep curiosity and love becoming a true expert. You enjoy diving into new industries and have a knack for distilling complex info into its core essence to share with others • You have a consistent track record of hitting (and beating) quota and your OTE $ • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and genuinely enjoy figuring things out in the gray areas • You build relationships with middle + senior management and ownership quickly and authentically • You're flexible and adaptive — priorities shift, and you shift with them • You thrive both working independently and collaborating with a team • You have 3+ years of sales experience • You have a consistent track record of quota attainment and overachieving your goals! Why Flex? • Strong onboarding, built to set you up for real success. We invest in ramping you right, not just throwing you into the deep end • Revenue enablement that never stops. Ongoing coaching and resources designed to sharpen your skills long after ramp is over • Mentorship, built in. You'll learn directly from peers and senior sales folks who want to see you win, not just hit your own number • A real career path. This is a role to grow in, not just grow out of • A team that's winning. You'll be surrounded by top performers who are closing deals and hitting numbers, with the energy and momentum that comes from being part of a team that's actually putting up results • A mission worth selling. Every conversation you have helps bring real financial flexibility to renters, not just another vendor pitch Compensation Flex takes a market-based approach to pay, ensuring compensation is commensurate with a candidate's experience and our internal leveling guidelines. For candidates located in our Tier 1 (NYC/Bay Area) and Tier 3 (Salt Lake City) markets, the base salary pay range for this role is below. Flex utilizes a geographic pay differential based on a cost of labor index.
