About Flamingo Flamingo is an award-winning body, hair, and care brand delivering high-performance, thoughtfully designed products at an accessible price. Since launching in 2018, we’ve become the #3 player in women’s shave in the U.S. and expanded our assortment to offer products for every routine: razors, wax steps for face and body, shave gel, and body lotion. Our products and campaigns have been covered by Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and InStyle, and we’ve won major beauty accolades from Allure and Essence. With a mission to empower women, Flamingo is committed to partnering with nonprofit partners working to help women and girls build healthy relationships with their bodies and has helped connect over 200K people to quality mental health and wellbeing resources. Flamingo is part of Mammoth Brands, the modern CPG company behind category-leading brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie. Driven by a mission to “Create Things People Like More,” the company is creating a new model—and home—for brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives and ultimately change the status quo. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. Mammoth Brands is committed to making a positive impact and donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date. We build brands that move fast and think big — and we hire people who are curious about AI, willing to experiment with it in their day-to-day work, and excited to accelerate what's possible. We prioritize giving our team the tools, training, and space to build real fluency, so you grow alongside the technology and help shape how we use it. About the Role Mammoth Brands is hiring a Growth Marketing Lead to run growth for one of our brands. This is a general manager role for growth. You own the brand's P&L and everything that drives it: creative strategy, channel management online and offline, and social commerce across TikTok Shop and affiliate. You decide what we make, where we spend, and how fast we scale it, and you answer for the result. You will set the brand's growth strategy and lead the team that delivers it, from channel managers to a creative strategist and a social commerce lead. You work alongside our central teams in creative production, demand and strategy, and community, and you bring them a clear point of view on what the brand needs. If you have run growth for a brand and want the whole growth engine in one role, with direct ownership of the number, this is that role. What You'll Do P&L and growth strategy • Own the brand's P&L and its growth targets for revenue, new customers, and CAC, along with the annual and monthly plans to hit them. • Set channel mix and budget allocation within the envelope agreed with Demand & Strategy. • Build the brand's growth narrative for monthly business reviews and EBRs: what is working, what is not, and what you are changing. Creative strategy • Set the brand's creative strategy and own its creative territories, evolving them with performance data and the product roadmap. • Approve the monthly creative allocation (territory and style split) proposed by your Creative Strategist. • Hold the creative quality bar and give final sign-off on the brand's performance creative. Channel management, online and offline • Own channel strategy and performance across the brand's online and offline channels, including DTC paid media. • Decide where budget goes, and hold your channel managers accountable for launch quota, spend efficiency, and testing discipline. Social commerce • Own the brand's social commerce growth across TikTok Shop and affiliate, and decide how the shop fits alongside DTC and retail, including which launches and hero products to prioritize. • Hold your Social Commerce Lead accountable for shop growth, and make sure they have what they need: budget, inventory, creator support, and content. • Set creator direction for the brand with our central Community team, which runs creator recruitment and the creator community. Team leadership • Lead the brand pod: Social Commerce Lead, Channel Manager(s), Creative Strategist, and an Offline Lead where the brand has one. • Set clear ownership, cadences, and accountability so the team runs independently. • Hire, develop, and retain the team. Cross-functional partnership • Be the growth counterpart to brand marketing, DTC and ecommerce, product, retail, and finance. • Translate launch calendars, retail moments, and brand priorities into the growth plan. • Approve brand fit on creator deals over $10K. What Success Looks Like • Brand revenue and new customers on plan across DTC and social commerce, with CAC and contribution margin on growth spend at target. • Healthy creative testing: launch quota hit rate and the share of new concepts that become winners. • A fully staffed, retained team that runs its creative, media, and shop cadences without escalation. • Problems flagged early with a plan attached, and leadership that trusts your read on why. Who You Are • 8 to 12 years in DTC growth or performance marketing, with direct ownership of a brand's or business line's P&L and growth targets. • Hands-on fluency across growth marketing: paid social, paid search, social commerce including TikTok Shop and affiliate, and offline channels. You can go deep with a channel manager, not just review a dashboard. • Strong creative judgment: you know what good performance creative looks like and can articulate why something works. • Experience leading a team across disciplines. • Commercially sharp: comfortable with unit economics, contribution margin, and making trade-offs under budget constraints. • Brings urgency and structure, and can build relationships in a matrixed organization. This role is likely not the right fit if you are a brand marketer who has not owned performance numbers, or a channel specialist who has not led a cross-functional team. Benefits and perks • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401k match • Equity in Mammoth Brands • Flexible time off and working hours • L&D stipend • 4 weeks sabbatical after 5 years, 6 weeks after 10 years, and 8 weeks after 15 years • 20 fully paid weeks off for parents who give birth, or 16 fully paid weeks off for all other paths to parenthood • Fun IRL and virtual events including happy hours, team building events, and parties on our rooftop • Free products from our family of brands The Mammoth Brands' working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Our beautiful 70,000 square foot SoHo office is decked out with bagels on Wednesdays and lunch on Thursdays, and fully stocked kitchens with snacks, coffee, and drinks everyday. Can’t forget the free products and the opportunity to have some meetings without Zoom! We can’t quantify all of the intangible things we think you’ll love about working at Mammoth Brands, like the exciting challenges we tackle, the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $177,200-$250,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
