Founders Associate

This role is based in our London office 🇬🇧 We are an office-first company & believe great products are made when we are together. Stacks is building an AI-native platform that reinvents how modern finance teams run the monthly close. The opportunity is massive: every growing company depends on accurate, timely financial data, yet most are still operating with tools and workflows built for a different era. In just over two years, we've grown from a team of 2 to 50+ and are on a rapid trajectory. We've raised a $23M Series A led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with General Catalyst and EQT Ventures doubling down. We're already trusted by leading European scale-ups including Cleo, Epidemic Sound, and Motorway. Our team is a blend of finance, product, and technical experts from top-tier companies like Uber, Plaid, Miro, and Google, united by the drive to create a game-changing solution. We're a team that is deeply customer-obsessed, plays to win, and isn't afraid to take big, bold bets. We move fast, hold a high bar, and are committed to growing together as we scale. ABOUT THE ROLE Stacks is hiring a sharp, technical and curious Founder Associate who understands finance and can explain complex financial concepts in clear terms. You'll work directly alongside our CEO, Albert, and our Marketing Lead, Irina, shaping how Albert and Stacks are seen in the world. You'll own how we communicate, especially in the small moments that add up: a LinkedIn post, a line on the website, an event topic. You'll write in Albert's voice and build the AI workflows and automations that let one person do the work of a team. If you read about AI and finance because you find it fascinating, love questioning experts until a complex idea clicks and then turning it into content people want to read, and automate anything you've had to do twice, this is the role for you. 🧱 WHAT YOU'LL DO LINKEDIN AND SOCIAL - Own Albert's and Stacks' LinkedIn accounts, drafting and publishing in Albert's voice - Track the conversation across AI, finance and tech, and spot where Stacks has something worth saying - Grow our follower base and engagement among CFOs and senior finance leaders - Consistently publish high-quality micro-content that shows a deep understanding of our customers and the finance space NARRATIVES AND EXPERT NETWORK - Own the content narratives Stacks wants to be known for, and build a network of finance and accounting subject matter experts who fuel fresh ideas, sharper questions and new perspectives across everything we publish - Bring that network to life through different channels: choosing guests and speakers, researching topics, writing questions and talking points, handling recording and event logistics, and turning every piece of content into clips, comms and follow-up content - Work with sales so content shows up in deals and drives pipeline AUTOMATION AND AI - Build AI workflows and automations that turn one recording or idea into posts, clips and emails with minimal manual work BEYOND COMMUNICATIONS AND GROWTH Communications and growth are where you'll start, but they won't be the only thing you do. This role is constantly evolving with the company, and you'll pick up projects across the business as priorities shift. You are a Founder Associate: when you see a gap, you move toward it. 🧩 WHAT YOU NEED - Technical instincts: you build with AI tools and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n, Clay or similar), not just prompt a chatbot - A voice on social: you enjoy writing for social, you have opinions, and you can pick up someone else's voice quickly - Finance and commercial fluency: you follow AI, finance and tech closely. You're commercially sharp enough to hold your own in a conversation with a CFO. - Speed: you ship fast, iterate in public and keep several workstreams running at once - Low ego: you're happy for your best work to go out under someone else's name, and you get better with every edit - Excellent written English: native or native-equivalent speaker Bonus points: you've grown an audience, for yourself or someone else, or you've built something of your own. 🚀 WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Foundational role: Work directly alongside the CEO and Marketing Lead at the centre of how Stacks tells its story and builds its presence in the market, from day one. Ownership, not execution: This is a role where you set the strategy, build the plan, and own the result. You will not be handed briefs. Trajectory: Previous Founder Associates at Stacks have moved into product and revenue functions. The ceiling is yours to set. Cutting-edge product and tech: Work at the intersection of AI and enterprise finance, building something that fundamentally changes how companies run their financial close. High-calibre team: Colleagues from Uber, Plaid, Google, and Miro, backed by Lightspeed, General Catalyst, EQT Ventures, and operators from Stripe, Netflix, and OpenAI. Compensation: Competitive salary, equity for all employees, and an annual performance bonus. 🤝 THE HIRING PROCESS When you apply: share a link to something you've written for social, and something you've built with AI or automation. Step 1: 30 to 45 minute intro call with the Talent team, to learn about your background, motivation, and experience, and to tell you more about Stacks and the role. Step 2: Conversation with Irina, our Marketing Lead, about writing, voice and what's happening in the space. Step 3: Live case study: where we test your taste in content, ability to build and run a process and how you will work cross-functionally across the business. Step 4: Final conversation with a senior leader at Stacks. Step 5: Offer!
