Business Development Representative

[This Bengaluru-based role supports the global market and follows US working hours] About Enterpret At Enterpret, we are building the customer intelligence platform that turns messy, unstructured customer feedback into a structured, analyzable source of truth — solving complex problems in natural language processing, machine learning, and large-scale analytics to push the envelope of what product teams can learn from their customers. Our conviction is shared by investors like Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital, and by the product development teams we're proud to serve — including Canva, Notion, Samsung, and Loom. These are teams that treat customer feedback as a competitive advantage, and we help them act on it. We love working with folks who are resourceful, thrive in ambiguity, and display a strong sense of ownership. Read more about our team, core values, and operating principles — here. What You'll Do • Own the top of the funnel for our global markets — researching target accounts, identifying the product and CX leaders who feel the pain we solve, and opening conversations that turn into pipeline. • Craft sharp, personalized outbound across email, LinkedIn, and phone — messaging that earns a reply because it speaks to a real problem, not a template. • Run thoughtful discovery on early calls to understand a prospect's world, qualify fit, and set up Account Executives with the context they need to win. • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Product and the leadership team to test new segments, sharpen positioning, and feed what you learn on the front lines back into our go-to-market motion. • Become a genuine expert on the customer intelligence category — the market, our customers like Canva and Notion, and the competitive landscape — so every conversation carries weight. • Continuously raise the bar on your own craft: experiment with new sequences, channels, and plays, and share what works with the team. What It Takes • 1–4 years in a sales development, business development, or outbound sales role, ideally selling B2B SaaS. • A track record of consistently hitting or beating pipeline and meeting targets — you can point to numbers, not just activity. • Experience selling into global markets, with the written and verbal communication to hold your own with product and CX leaders in those regions. • Strong research instincts and genuine curiosity — you dig into an account before you reach out, and your outreach shows it. • Comfort with ambiguity and change — you've worked somewhere fast-moving and know how to build process where none exists. • A track record of collaborating across Sales and Marketing, and a habit of sharing what you learn rather than hoarding it. • Fluency with modern sales tooling (CRM, sequencing, prospecting, and enrichment tools) and the willingness to fold AI into how you work. Why Enterpret? • High Impact: Build the top of the funnel at an early-stage startup where every conversation you open shapes our growth. • Ownership: End-to-end responsibility for your accounts, your outreach, and your pipeline. • Complex Challenges: Sell a genuinely differentiated product in the emerging customer intelligence category to sophisticated product teams. • Growth: There's a clear promotion path to Account Executive if you're successful — but beyond that, you'll have the opportunity to support Enterpret's growth as an SDR Manager, a Customer Success Manager, or wherever you believe you can make the most impact. • Culture: Open, collaborative, and values-driven environment with autonomy. • Benefits: Competitive salary, equity, hybrid work setup, premium healthcare, and more. What We Value At Enterpret, we operate with a deep sense of ownership — we play for the team and do what it takes to win together. We care personally for our teammates while pushing each other with honest, actionable feedback. Above all, we approach everything with humility and a drive to keep learning and getting better. We ensure that none of our employees or prospective employees receives less favourable treatment as a result of age, sex, disability, marital status, colour, race, religion or ethnic origin. Equally we aim to ensure that no such employee is disadvantaged by terms and conditions of employment which cannot be justified.
