Senior Tech Recruiter - 3 month FTC

The AI Operating System for Private Capital. Capsa Private capital funds have to find potential investments, research and analyse them thoroughly, monitor them over time, drive improvements, and decide when to buy and sell. They've got to see through the marketing. They've got to outbid the competition. And they've got to learn from every deal they do. Historically, these processes have run on people, we are building the AI Operating System that will run them in the future. We're focused, ambitious, and obsessed with building a category-defining company. In the last 12 months we've grown ARR 15x, achieved product–market fit with leading multi-billion-dollar PE firms, and expanded across the US, UK, and Europe. Now we're doubling down: we've raised a large Series A from top-tier VC investors to scale the team. We're hiring hyper-talented people who want to work at the forefront of AI and revolutionise an industry. The role Join our talent team and help land exceptional engineers at one of the fastest-growing AI companies in private capital. You’ll work across a set of senior engineering roles in backend, fullstack, platform and AI. That covers sourcing, outreach, screening, stakeholder management and closing. You’ll work directly with our CTO and engineering leads, and alongside our Talent Lead and existing contract recruiter. Your success is measured in hires made, not in activity. We need someone who can hit the ground running in week one, add real momentum to a live pipeline, and sell a technically ambitious story to engineers who aren’t actively looking. The opportunity - Drive a live engineering hiring plan. You’ll run multiple senior searches in parallel with the wider talent team, from intake to signed offer, against clear targets and dates. - Source the people who aren’t applying. Build target lists and boolean searches and run multi-channel outreach to reach top engineers at venture-backed startups and leading tech firms. Most of our best hires come from outbound, and that’s where you’ll spend most of your time. - Run a tight, candidate-first process. Screen for technical depth and ownership, keep candidates warm, and make sure nobody waits on us. - Partner with the CTO. Calibrate profiles, challenge briefs when they need challenging, and give hiring managers an honest read on the market. - Close well. Manage offers, competing processes and counter-offers so the right people say yes. - Deliver a reusable sourcing toolkit. As part of the engagement, you’ll hand over documented sourcing playbooks, outreach templates and Ashby workflow improvements for the roles you run. Why Capsa - Exceptional traction. 15x ARR growth in 12 months, and PMF with top PE funds managing over $1tn AUM. - A compelling pitch. You’ll be selling hard technical problems, real ownership and a category-defining product. - Immediate impact. The engineers you hire will shape the architecture of the platform for years. - Backed by the best. Top VCs and senior PE execs from Warburg Pincus, KKR, and Goldman Sachs. Track record - Deep technical recruiting experience. You have five or more years hiring senior software engineers, ideally at a venture-backed startup, a scale-up or a specialist tech agency. - Outbound is your strength. You can show how you’ve built pipelines from scratch and filled hard senior roles through direct sourcing. - You speak the language. You’re comfortable discussing backend, distributed systems, infrastructure and AI/ML engineering with candidates and engineering leaders. You don’t need to code, but you can tell a strong profile from a keyword match. - Proven closer. You have a track record of landing in-demand engineers against competing offers. - The London market. You have strong knowledge of the London engineering talent landscape and where great engineers sit. - Tooling. Hands-on with Ashby (or a comparable ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter and AI sourcing tools. How you operate - Low ego, high ownership. You’re accountable for your searches and you collaborate easily, sharing candidates and insight with the rest of the talent team. - Fast and organised. You can run several searches at once without anything slipping. - Direct communicator. You give honest market feedback to hiring managers and clear, timely updates to candidates. - Genuinely curious about AI. You use it to compound your own output. If this opportunity excites you We'd like to meet you. Initial conversations are direct and substantive, going deep on the work, the team, and what you'd own in the first six months.
