Partner Delivery Manager, Army Delivery Team

CONSEQUENTIAL WORK. DEDICATED PEOPLE. ABOUT ONEBRIEF Onebrief builds collaboration and AI-powered workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. Military planning is complex by nature, requiring teams to coordinate information, people, and decisions across systems and locations. Onebrief brings planning, collaboration, simulation, and AI into one connected environment, helping teams test strategies, adapt to changing conditions, and make decisions with greater clarity when the stakes are real. We are a distributed team of builders from military, operational, and technology backgrounds who care deeply about improving how important work gets done. Some team members work remotely, while others work directly alongside customers in operational environments around the world. Founded in 2019, Onebrief is backed by leading investors including General Catalyst, Battery Ventures, Insight Partners, Sapphire Ventures, and Human Capital. Valued at more than $2 billion, we continue to invest in product innovation, AI capabilities, and team growth. WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS Army headquarters and operational formations need planning tools that fit how staffs coordinate, make decisions, and execute across echelons. A successful implementation requires more than access to software: it takes someone who understands Army planning, can win the trust of users, and can help teams incorporate new workflows into real operational work. This role onboards new Army commands, helps existing customers realize sustained operational value, and supports qualified growth opportunities. You will support exercises and high-priority planning events, contribute field expertise to scoped opportunities, and turn Army-specific workflows and lessons into a more repeatable delivery model. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Army Delivery Operations Manager. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own new-command onboarding from Growth handoff through a conditions-based transition to Mission Success. Define customer outcomes, coordinate delivery, and surface risks early. - Help Army planners translate staff processes into useful Onebrief workflows; train and coach users across headquarters and echelons in person and remotely. - Support existing customers alongside Mission Success through exercises, planning events, workflow improvements, training, and coordinated issue resolution so they realize sustained operational value. - Partner with Growth and Mission Success on scoped demonstrations, pilots, and net-new and expansion opportunities. Define the customer problem, required resources, success criteria, and next decision. - Build proficiency in Onebrief and Onebrief AI, and provide basic Atom Engine support in partnership with the Atom Engine Delivery Team. - Share customer needs, product feedback, and after-action lessons with the appropriate teams; turn validated insights into reusable Army workflows, demonstration assets, and delivery playbooks. - Remain comfortable and ready to pivot beyond your primary customer base to support other customers, delivery teams, and surge requirements as GDT priorities evolve. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Experience supporting operational planning, coordination, or execution in an Army headquarters, operational formation, or comparable joint land environment. - Working knowledge of Army staff structures, planning processes, and the way headquarters and subordinate echelons coordinate. - Experience independently coordinating a complex onboarding, implementation, exercise, or operational event across multiple stakeholders. - Ability to build trust with customers, teach new tools and workflows, and communicate clearly with operational and technical stakeholders. - Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn complex software, troubleshoot initial issues, and coordinate resolution. Experience implementing software or leading change across classified and unclassified environments. - Current Secret clearance with eligibility for TS, ability to access DoD facilities, and readiness to travel more than 50% of the time, both within the continental United States and internationally. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with the Military Decision-Making Process, operational planning teams, or planning at division, corps, theater Army, or Army headquarters level. - Experience supporting Army command-post, warfighter, or other major operational exercises. - Experience with Army modeling and simulation, wargaming, or demonstrations tailored to corps or division use cases. - Experience with technical software integrations and translating complex customer feedback to product and engineering teams. INDICATORS OF SUCCESS Customer needs and priorities evolve, and success in this role requires adaptability and resilience. The outcomes below illustrate what success typically looks like approximately six months into the role: - Assigned onboardings and delivery commitments meet customer-agreed outcomes, with risks surfaced early and a clear handoff to Mission Success. - Existing customers receive effective exercise, planning, or workflow support that helps them realize operational value. - Scoped demonstrations, pilots, or expansion engagements contribute to clear customer decisions, and internal partners receive actionable customer feedback. - Validated lessons or assets are reused by the team, reducing preparation effort or time-to-value for a comparable engagement.
