Marketing Intern

About us Corner Health is rebuilding primary care by helping Nurse Practitioners (NPs) start and scale their own independent practices. Our AI-native operating system handles everything from billing and insurance to patient communication and clinical workflows, giving providers more time to do what matters most: care for patients. In the past year, we’ve become the fastest-growing primary care network in Arizona and Washington, supporting more than 70 provider-owned practices and over 50,000 patient visits. Corner Health was founded by Lava Sunder and Anne Gifford and has raised $32.5M from Oak HC/FT, First Round Capital, Zigg Capital, and the founders of DoorDash, Commure, Grow Therapy, Kindred, Culdesac, and more.    At Corner Health, we’re building something fundamentally different: a network of hyper-local, independent, in-person primary care practices powered by modern technology. This is a completely new model of care. Today, 88% of patients prefer a provider powered by Corner Health vs. elsewhere, and patients return at 2× the national average - not because of marketing, but because the experience actually works. That foundation creates a unique opportunity. When patients trust their provider and keep coming back in-person, there’s a wide surface area for growth, from follow-up care and longitudinal programs to longevity care to new services like cash and wellness products, better retention loops, and entirely new ways of engaging patients. We’re looking for a high‑energy, creative intern to support our social media, marketing, and event initiatives across the Corner Health network. This is a remote role (20 hours/week) ideal for someone who’s excited about content creation, community engagement, and hands‑on execution. This internship is perfect for someone early in their career who wants hands‑on experience in social media, marketing, and event execution within a fast‑growing healthcare startup. What You'll Work On • Social media content creation: Capture in‑clinic moments, create short‑form videos, draft posts, and help grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. • Brand storytelling: Highlight patient experiences, provider stories, and the unique Corner Health model through fresh, authentic content. • Event planning & execution: Support community events, open houses, and wellness activations; coordinate logistics, vendors, materials, and onsite setup. • Marketing support: Assist with email campaigns, flyers, local partnerships, and practice‑level marketing needs. • Operational coordination: Work closely with the Practice Growth Team to ensure content and events align with practice goals. What You're Like • Creative, resourceful, and excited to work in a fast‑moving startup environment • Strong communicator with a polished, friendly presence • Comfortable filming, editing, and posting short‑form content • Organized and able to manage multiple small projects at once • Interested in healthcare, community building, or consumer marketing • Available 20 hours/week • Resourceful problem‑solver: You find a way, even when the path isn’t obvious No single background is required. We value quick learners who bring energy and ownership. What You'll Gain • Hands‑on experience: Real work in social media, marketing, and event execution inside a fast‑growing healthcare startup. • Mentorship & coaching: Direct guidance from the Growth teams; exposure to founders and operators. • Career skill‑building: Project management, content creation, brand storytelling, community engagement, and analytics. • Startup exposure: Learn how a high‑velocity, consumer‑focused healthcare startup operates day‑to‑day. • Meaningful mission: Contribute to a model of care that patients genuinely love and return to at 2× the national average. What we're like You’re joining an early-stage company - it’s important to learn more about what we’re like! We're a small team with high ownership and high autonomy. We are motivated by the providers we get to know, and the patient lives we impact. We love celebrating when one of our providers hits a patient growth milestone, when we see a stellar review written by a patient who finally feels listened to, or when we ship a quick feature request that a provider has (our fastest time from request → live was 12 minutes!) We use best-in-class tools to move fast and punch above our weight, and the work we do has a direct, tangible impact on people's health and lives, and we feel that every day. Lastly - one of our team values is "Life is short - it's OK to laugh". Whether it's late-night team dinners, mini golf, or just jamming on new ideas for our providers - we work hard and have fun doing it.
