GTM Recruiter

About Collate   Collate is an AI document generation platform for life sciences. We automate paperwork with AI, helping our customers get life-saving innovations to patients years faster. Collate is an end-to-end solution, powering every step of drug, diagnostic, and medical device development—from concept to market.   Our CEOSurbhi Sarna is a former General Partner at Y Combinator. Surbhi founded nVision Medical, which developed a new method to detect ovarian cancer and was acquired by Boston Scientific. Our CTONate Smith is a former Visiting Partner at Y Combinator and founder of Lever. Our AI researchers, engineers, and designers have worked at Google, Nvidia, Meta, Netflix, Amazon, AirBnB, Hippocratic AI, and Grail, and 40% of our team are former founders.   We’re an elite team, with $125M in funding from top investors (Redpoint, First Round Capital, CRV, Conviction, Y Combinator) and leaders in healthcare and AI. This is a rare chance to join an early-stage company with world-changing potential, experienced founders, and resources to execute at scale.       About the Role Collate is hiring its first full lifecycle GTM Recruiter as we continue to scale post–Series A. We're selling into life sciences — a market where trust, regulatory fluency, and flawlessly executed sales cycles matter as much as product — and the people we hire into Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support need to reflect that. You'll own GTM hiring end to end, partnering with the Head of Recruiting and leadership to build the team that turns Collate's product into revenue. There's no existing playbook for this function at Collate — you'll build the sourcing strategy from scratch, while moving fast enough to hit an aggressive hiring plan. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role filled with ambiguity so it is imperative that you can adapt quickly, be open to unlearn what may have worked before, and deliver with flawless execution. We are 5 days a week onsite in San Francisco. What You’ll Do • Own full-cycle recruiting for our GTM org — Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support — from intake through close • Build the GTM pipeline from scratch: leverage Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, source strong applicants in Lever and utilize Claude to accelerate quickly • Source candidates who can sell into a regulated, technical, relationship-driven industry — this isn't generic SaaS AE hiring, and the pipeline should reflect that • Run a tight offer process: comp benchmarking, closing strategy, and competitive positioning against other well-funded AI companies chasing the same talent • Build the reporting layer — pipeline health, funnel conversion, source effectiveness — so GTM hiring decisions are data-backed, not vibes-backed • Deliver a compelling pitch about Collate's mission to candidates who've never thought about life sciences infra before, and get them to care What We’re Looking For • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with proven high performance in GTM hiring (AE, CS, Implementation, Support) at a high-growth startup • You've hired into ambiguity before and built the playbook as you went • Strong instincts for evaluating sales talent beyond the resume: how someone runs a discovery call, handles objections, and closes matters more to you than pedigree • Fluent with modern sourcing and pipeline tools (Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, Lever or similar ATS, AI-sourcing tools) • Bonus: experience recruiting for regulated or technical-buyer industries (health tech, fintech, infra) where the sales cycle isn't pure top-of-funnel volume Why Join Collate? Impact: Build systems and experiences that touch real patients and providers, improving healthcare outcomes. Ownership: Shape both our product experience and our engineering culture from the start. Learning: Collaborate with a uniquely interdisciplinary team—AI researchers, healthcare leaders, and experienced startup builders. Upside: Join a company early enough to have meaningful equity and career-defining impact.   The base salary range for this role is competitive, depending on experience and level (Tier 1, San Francisco) Senior Recruiter: $165-190K; Staff Recruiter: $185-225K
