ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Junior Salesforce Developer you are a hands-on member of the team. You keep the platform healthy by owning day-to-day support, you build improvements and features end to end with guidance from senior developers, and you grow into someone who can sit with a stakeholder, understand the problem and shape the right solution. This is a development role in both senses. You will write and ship code, and Halter will invest in your growth toward a certified, well-rounded Salesforce professional. WHAT YOUR DAY COULD LOOK LIKE: Keeping Salesforce running smoothly: - Triage support requests, troubleshoot issues and escalate with clear context. - Fix bugs across Apex, flows, permissions and integrations, and make safe, tested data and configuration changes. - Tackle recurring problems at the source and keep support guides up to date. Building improvements and new features: - Take small to medium changes from brief to release: scope, build, test and deploy. - Use flows and configuration where they fit, and Apex and LWC where code adds value. - Follow team standards for testing, code reviews and documentation. - Own defined parts of larger projects with guidance from senior developers. Working closely with the business: - Turn stakeholder requests into clear requirements and practical solutions. - Help run workshops, building confidence to lead smaller conversations. - Keep teams across Sales, RevOps, Finance, Launch and Customer Success informed on progress, blockers and trade-offs. Growing your Salesforce skills: - Earn Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications in your first year, with exam fees and protected study time covered by Halter. - Build towards Platform App Builder and a specialisation aligned with our roadmap. - Put Trailhead learning into practice and spot opportunities in new Salesforce releases.   WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - Foundations in Salesforce development: Apex, flows and the data model, with an appetite to go deeper. - Familiarity with a Git-based workflow: branches, pull requests and code review. - Care for quality: You test your work, ask when unsure, and prefer a root-cause fix over a patch. - Clear written and spoken communication, and comfort asking questions of colleagues who are not technical. - Curiosity about how the business works and how the platform serves it. Nice to have: - JavaScript or LWC, SOQL or SQL - Exposure to Revenue Cloud. - OmniStudio or integration tooling, and any existing Salesforce certification OUR BENEFITS: - Delicious snacks and drinks are available for your daily flow. - Healthy body, healthy mind. We're partnered with Southern Cross Health Insurance to support your well-being. - We offer 6 months of fully paid parental leave for primary caregivers, 4 weeks of fully paid secondary caregiver leave and many other parental benefits that support you and your family. - Our personal growth is important. Halter offers an annual $1000 self-development budget to be used for anything that fuels personal growth. - Our time to recharge is valued, we're offered wellness leave and unlimited paid annual leave. - Importantly, we offer an inclusive and attractive remuneration package made up of salary, benefits and an employee stock ownership plan. OUR OFFICE FIRST APPROACH Humans are wired for connection. Being office first is a core pillar of our culture because in-person connections drive your growth, learning, impact, and relationships.
