Today, we offer bundled cash offers, mortgage, and title services in 13 states, enabling buyers and sellers to move with certainty and convenience. We’re a fully remote company with a diverse team spread across several countries - Grounded in three core values: The Golden Rule, One Team One Dream, and Calm Focus. Hear from our employees about what our values mean to them. We're growing and building the team that gets us to the next level. Fair warning: we don't have a marketing playbook yet. If that excites you, read on. We’re looking for a Principal Integrated Marketer to help Homeward build trust and confidence with real estate agents. This is a player-coach role where you’ll both set the strategy and do a lot of the work yourself. Over time, that ratio will shift as we build out the marketing playbook and team. In this role, you will: • Partner with the executive team (specifically, the CEO, Chief Growth Officer, and Chief Sales Officer) to translate business priorities into a clear marketing strategy • Drive demand generation and integrated marketing efforts across the company. You will be responsible for executing the strategy, defining KPIs, and reporting out on results to the executive team • Establish a trusted presence across channels where agents are gathering – organic and paid social media, brokerage networks, industry events, etc. • Build and manage a content engine across multiple formats (editorial, video, visual) and asset types (thought leadership, testimonials and social proof, educational webinars). • Lead corporate and product messaging refinement to ensure we have a clear and consistent message across all of our channels • Support the Sales and Business Development teams with product collateral • Experiment with new growth marketing strategies. The marketing strategy will evolve over time as we learn what works and what doesn’t. • Leverage a combination of employees, contractors, and tools to build out a small but effective growth marketing team. We’ll want you to hire an experienced marketing team to provide the leverage needed. How you’ll work: • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, comfortably shifting between setting direction and rolling up your sleeves to get the work done. • Create clarity and momentum in ambiguous environments, independently driving initiatives from concept through execution. • Operate with an ownership mindset, holding yourself accountable for business results rather than simply completing marketing activities. • Demonstrate exceptional judgment and ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs. For example, by knowing when speed matters more than perfection—and when precision is critical to the business. • Use customer insights, data, and sound business judgment to make decisions quickly, iterate often, and continuously improve results. • Build collaborative, cross-functional partnerships across executive leadership, Sales, and Product Management. What we’re looking for: • 7+ years experience in Marketing • A well-rounded marketing generalist that has experience driving integrated marketing plans across a breadth of channels, which might include content, organic and paid social, influencer / community networks, email, event marketing, and PR • Startup experience and scrappy mindset is a must. You need a self-starter mindset, who is willing and able to do individual contributor work as well as manage internal/external marketing resources • High creative and editorial standards – you’ll be responsible for managing content marketers / visual designers • Startup experience and scrappy mindset is a must. You need a self-starter mindset, who is excited to figure things out rather than inheriting a system. • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills • Data-driven and excellent at defining, setting, and reporting on full-funnel KPIs • Experience in real estate or financial products is a plus. And if not, the desire to dig in and deeply understand real estate agents and how to get them to trust and understand Homeward enough to try a complex financial product Compensation & Benefits Compensation: • $160K Base Salary • Annual performance bonus eligibility. • Meaningful equity grant – stock options with real upside potential. Benefits: • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage – with company contributions towards premiums. • Meaningful time off – including 20 days of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 12 company holidays, and 2 floating holidays. • Generous paid parental leave of up to 13 weeks. • 401(k) with employer contribution match. • Remote-first work environment (our headquarters are in Austin, TX). • Collaborative, low-ego team that values intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement. • See more about how Homeward takes care of our team here. Value-Driven Employee Experience THE GOLDEN RULE. It’s simple: Treat others the way we want to be treated. Whether we’re dealing with colleagues or customers, we don’t prioritize money or growth over people, and we practice empathy at every opportunity. CALM FOCUS. We work in tech and build solutions for real estate. Both are fast-paced and stressful industries. But by focusing on the larger objective rather than rushing from one task to the next, we can create solutions our customers love. ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM. Big problems require big solutions. We look at our customers’ experiences holistically and recognize that solving them requires collaboration across teams and our three affiliate companies — Homeward, Homeward Mortgage and Homeward Title.
