Brand Designer

ABOUT TRAVERSAL Traversal http://traversal.com?utm_source=home&utm_medium=doc&utm_campaign=brand-designer is the AI Site Reliability Engineer (AI SRE) for the enterprise. Production complexity was already outpacing what engineering teams could manage manually, and AI-generated code is accelerating that gap. Traversal is built for that challenge, autonomously understanding and reasoning across even the largest, most complex production environments to diagnose, fix, and prevent incidents. Our mission is to free engineers from endless firefighting and give them more time to focus on creative, high-impact work. Today, Traversal operates in mission-critical environments at some of the world’s largest enterprises. Our roots remain deeply embedded in AI research, and we’ve brought together researchers from institutions including MIT, Harvard, Berkeley, Columbia, and Cornell with world-class technical staff and operators from companies like Google, Meta, Datadog, ServiceNow, and Citadel Securities to take on one of the hardest problems for AI to solve. Traversal is backed by Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Hanabi, NFDG, and American Express Ventures. THE ROLE As our first internal Brand Designer, you will help shape how Traversal shows up visually across every touchpoint, from social media and product launches to sales materials, events, out-of-home campaigns, swag, and more. This role is ideal for a multidisciplinary designer with exceptional visual craft who wants to work across many areas of brand rather than stay in one lane. We don’t expect you to have mastered every design discipline; we do expect you to be exceptional in a few, with the curiosity and resourcefulness to learn new skills quickly when a project calls for them. You’ll take ownership of a wide variety of fast-moving creative projects and help build the systems and AI-powered tools that allow us to produce great work at scale. For someone interested in stretching beyond visual design, there will also be plenty of room to think about the broader brand experience, from brainstorming campaigns and activations to contributing ideas for how Traversal can show up and stand out.
