SEO Executive

The Company We are partnering with an independent digital consultancy of around fifty specialists, working across SEO, paid media, content, analytics, UX and digital strategy. The team supports a diverse mix of Australian and North American businesses, from fast-growing scale-ups to large, complex organisations, with a strong focus on delivering commercially meaningful outcomes.   The culture is collaborative, supportive and genuinely people-first. Learning is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and knowledge is shared openly across teams. Leaders stay close to the work, and junior team members are trusted, guided and supported as they grow. It is an environment designed for people who want to learn properly, not just follow templates.   The Role As an SEO Executive, you will join a highly skilled SEO team and focus on building strong foundations across technical, content and on-site SEO. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role designed for someone early in their SEO career who is keen to learn by doing and grow within a supportive agency environment.   In the first phase of the role, your focus will be on execution and learning. You will work closely with senior SEO specialists, developing core skills such as keyword research, reporting, on-page optimisation and basic technical analysis. Over time, as your confidence grows, you will gain exposure to more responsibility, cross-team collaboration and eventually client communication.   This role is ideal for someone who is curious about how websites work, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to become a well-rounded SEO specialist rather than staying siloed in one area.   What You’ll Do - Support the delivery of SEO work across multiple clients under the guidance of senior team members. - Conduct keyword research, mapping and content gap analysis. - Assist with on-page optimisation, including titles, meta descriptions and internal linking. - Help prepare reports, benchmarks and performance tracking. - Support technical SEO tasks such as audits, page speed reviews and basic site analysis. - Produce SEO documentation and content briefs to support wider delivery. - Learn and work with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics and industry platforms. - Collaborate with Content, Outreach, Analytics and Paid Media teams on integrated client work.   What You’ll Bring - 1+ year of experience in SEO, or hands-on experience through an SEO-focused role or internship. - A genuine interest in how search engines, websites and content work. - A strong willingness to learn, ask questions and build skills through hands-on experience. - Comfort working with data, reports and spreadsheets, with an interest in turning data into insight. - Clear communication skills and the confidence to explain your thinking. - A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working with people across different disciplines. - An organised and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with support. - A kind, emotionally intelligent attitude and a positive contribution to team culture.   This Role Is for You If - You are early in your SEO career and want to learn properly in a supportive team. - You enjoy hands-on work and building strong technical and analytical foundations. - You are curious, motivated and excited by continuous learning. - You want exposure to different industries, clients and SEO challenges.   This Role Is Not for You If - You are looking for a strategy-only SEO role. - You are not interested in hands-on execution or learning technical fundamentals. - You prefer working independently with limited collaboration or guidance.   What’s in It for You - A permanent hybrid working model with a balance of home and office time. - Clear learning and development pathways with structured support from senior specialists. - Exposure to a wide variety of clients, industries and SEO challenges. - A collaborative, inclusive and low-ego team environment. - Regular social events and a culture that values balance and wellbeing. - A competitive salary package aligned to experience and growth potential.   To explore this role further, you can submit your application or connect with Alexane directly.   At Fulcrum, we celebrate diversity and know that our differences help us thrive.
