Manager, Commercial Engagement

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their products. We are building a commercial engine that allows pharmaceutical marketers to take control of their content supply chain and launch campaigns at 100x the speed. - Rapid growth: Over the past year, we have partnered with some of the top life sciences manufacturers and now support 50+ pharma brands. - Frontiers of technology: We build applications at the frontier of AI, experimenting with LLMs and new frameworks to redefine what is possible in pharmaceutical marketing. - Top-tier investors: We have raised from Transformation Capital, Twelve Below, Virtue, and the founders of Datavant, Commure, and Paradigm to supercharge our growth and build an elite team of engineers and operators. Building anything great requires commitment and dedication. We are looking for people with the fire to prove others wrong 🚀 ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for someone to be the strategic partner and executional driver for life sciences organizations, ranging from large biopharma with multiple brands to emerging biotechs launching their first therapies. You will own brand relationships end to end, guiding how our clients develop and execute on their strategy to promote their products. This role blends client engagement, commercial strategy, and hands-on execution, with influence over our product roadmap. You will work directly with in-house pharmaceutical commercial teams across brand, digital, omnichannel, and regulatory, alongside their creative and media agency partners. Strategy and execution are the same job here. The people who do this well are the ones whose recommendations are sharper because they have been close enough to the work to know what is possible. Ownership scales quickly for people who show they can carry it. Beyond client work, you will help build the Commercial function itself alongside our founding team, because the person closest to the client is the person who knows what we should build next. You will spearhead the growth of Solstice's partnerships, and doing that well means working directly with product, strategy, operations, and business development. You sit at the center of the org today, and you can grow into any part of it tomorrow. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON - Own the strategic frame of your client relationships. Work out what decision the client is actually trying to make, form a point of view, and argue for it. - Build optionality on purpose. Design the messaging architecture and design routes so clients have real choices to react to, not one answer to approve. - Exercise judgment about scope. Knowing that four strong options often beat twenty-four is the job. Review load is a client cost we control. - Own the execution that follows. Tactical planning, promotional review cadence, asset throughput, and agency partner coordination. - Run the client relationship. You will be the person they call, and you will own those conversations without an escalation path. - Own one internal workstream. At Solstice, we believe in being a jack of all trades; the people who do well are those who aspire to live outside the box. An Engagement Manager can support with business development, commercial operations, product strategy, or any other internal initiative of interest. SOME IDEAL TRAITS WE ARE LOOKING FOR - 3+ years in management consulting, strategy consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical and client-facing environment. - Structuring ambiguity. You turn a vague client problem into a recommendation with a defensible spine. - Presence with senior stakeholders. You are credible with a brand lead who has years of experience on you. - Cross-functional fluency. You have the ability to bring together and work with different stakeholders. - Operator mentality. You love building, improving, and streamlining processes in fast-paced environments. - Unreal organizational skills. You can manage complex workflows without dropping a thread. - High work ethic and drive. You are hungry to build something great and have an exceptional work ethic. - Strong commercial acumen. You have the ability to learn or master life sciences commercial strategy. Pharma marketing or life sciences experience is optional. We would rather teach the industry to someone with judgment than teach judgment to someone with the industry. ABOUT THE ROLE We are in person five days a week in our NYC office, and we work hard because we believe that is what building something exceptional requires. In exchange, you get outsized ownership, a steep growth curve, and a team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously. BENEFITS - Competitive salary + equity - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Unlimited PTO - 401(k) with 4% company match - Visa sponsorship (O-1, H-1B, TN) available - Relocation support - Meals, transportation, and daily logistics support so you can focus - Work in a high-velocity, high-impact environment
