Full Stack Software Engineer

About Us Gumloop is the multiplayer AI agent builder. We believe the people who know the work best should be able to automate it, and use what they build to help their whole team do more. Anyone at a company can build, share, and optimize agents with any AI model and any integration. Teams can orchestrate those agents across their business, while IT keeps full control over data, access, and spend. We're a small team building as fast as humanly possible. Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are running agents on Gumloop across their company. We've raised over $70M https://www.gumloop.com/blog/series-b from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures to scale and are looking for people who care as much as we do to join the team. Here’s what life at Gumloop is like: - Our beliefs – The Handbook https://www.gumloop.com/handbook - Our adventures – Wall of Photos https://www.gumloop.com/photos - What our users are saying - Wall of Love https://www.gumloop.com/love - What we’re working on – Changelog https://www.gumloop.com/changelog Role Overview We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to ship product at the highest level. This is a role for engineers who want close proximity to users, fast feedback loops, and the opportunity to directly shape the trajectory of an AI-native platform. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Ship end-to-end features — design, code, test, deploy, and own them in production - Work directly with users to turn feedback into improvements within hours, not days - Build and operate frontend and backend systems that stay fast and reliable as traffic grows - Review PRs, share context, and mentor junior engineers to raise the bar across the team WHAT YOU BRING - 2–5 years of professional experience building products as a full stack developer - Relentlessly resourceful — you've built real-world applications with a high bar for quality - If you've personally built something people use, years of experience is basically irrelevant - Comfort working in a small team where ownership and speed are the norm BONUS - Prior experience as a founder or founding engineer - Strong sense of product taste - Experience building LLM-powered products - Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS, Redux BENEFITS - Highly competitive salary and meaningful equity - Generous paid time off: 24 days for SF employees and 20 days globally, use them as you need - $350/month wellness benefit to spend on gym, spa, equipment, or whatever keeps you at your best - 15 days of temporary remote work flexibility per year - 401k/RRSP match up to 6%
