Sales Enablement Lead

WHO WE ARE Serval http://serval.com is an AI-native automation platform transforming how enterprises operate. We build intelligent agents that understand real-world workflows and execute them end-to-end — replacing manual processes and rigid legacy systems with adaptive, learning software. Founded in early 2024, Serval is already trusted by companies like Fox, Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, and Brex to automate high-volume, high-friction operational work across their organizations. At the core of Serval is an agentic AI platform that turns natural language into production-grade workflows. Our agents don’t just respond to requests — they reason, take action across systems, and continuously improve with usage. What began with operational use cases has quickly evolved into a horizontal AI automation layer used across IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and Engineering. Our mission is to eliminate repetitive, manual work across the enterprise and give teams leverage through intelligent automation. Long term, we’re building the universal AI operations layer — a system of agents that sits across business functions and runs the workflows that keep modern companies moving. We’re backed by leading investors including Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Meritech, First Round, General Catalyst, Elad Gil, and others. ABOUT THE ROLE Serval is hiring our first dedicated Sales Enablement Lead. As sales headcount grows across AEs, Associate AEs, and frontline managers, we are looking for a leader to accelerate how quickly a new seller becomes productive and how consistently the whole sales team runs our motion. You will own the full sales enablement scope: aligning sales leadership on a single sales methodology and then embedding it in the operating rhythm, running new hire and ongoing enablement for AEs, operationalizing manager enablement so coaching happens without you in the room, and owning the sales content library and its delivery. You will also partner with leadership to build new entry-level programs that feed our AE bench. This is a ground-floor build. There is no playbook to inherit, no LMS to maintain, and no curriculum to refresh. You will design the system, earn buy-in from the leaders who have to run it, and collaborate with the field to ensure whether it is working. The right person pairs real methodology and coaching depth with credibility in front of a sales leadership team, program-building instincts, and a bias toward measurable outcomes. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Design and build a scalable sales skill onboarding and ongoing development program for sellers and sales leadership - Roll out and reinforce a unified sales methodology across the sales team, securing executive sponsorship and defining what is expected at each level to drive adoption - Build the reinforcement system that embeds methodology and process into manager coaching cadences, deal reviews, pipeline inspection, and forecasting - Define and measure leading indicators of seller, manager, and team effectiveness - Partner with Product, Marketing, and other teams to ensure the field receives timely, well-tailored messaging, content, and training on new releases and evolving use cases - Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership on team productivity, coaching effectiveness, and leadership development - Leverage Serval and other frontier AI tools to deliver personalized, just-in-time training and scale the program beyond in-person engagement WHAT YOU’LL BRING - Direct experience rolling out and reinforcing a sales methodology across a sales team, including training managers to coach to it - Program management experience, including building enablement programs from the ground up in a fast-growing, ambiguous environment - Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training or coaching in front of both sellers and executives - 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales leadership development, sales management, or a related customer-facing role within AI/ML or enterprise technology organizations - A track record of earning buy-in from senior sales leaders and frontline managers, and driving stakeholder alignment with executive audiences - Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to measuring ramp, productivity, and program effectiveness - Empathy for sellers and sales leaders, with an understanding of the demands of the role and a partnership-oriented approach to conflict and disagreement - A proactive, resourceful approach, combining strategic vision with a willingness to build and execute hands-on - Prior frontline sales management experience a strong plus - Experience at an AI company or high-growth technology organization that has scaled a sales team quickly - Experience selling into or enabling teams that sell to IT, CIOs, or technical buyers a strong plus - Experience using or building applications on top of AI tools to automate and personalize training WHAT WE OFFER - Impact: Be a key player in shaping the success of our product and company. - Growth: Build a fundamentally new AI product offering with the support of our experienced team and investors. Grow rapidly with the company. - Culture: Join a culture that values innovation, ownership, accountability, and fun.
