Senior Product Engineer - Lifecycle Team

Hi! 👋 I'm Andrei https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrei-gabur/?skipRedirect=true, Engineering Manager for the team Traveler Lifecycle at WeTravel. Our team's mission is to free travel organizers from the admin grind, so they can spend their time on the part of the job they actually love: creating unforgettable experiences for their clients. If you want to shape the ecosystem of tools and intuitive workflows that make running and growing a travel business a breeze, let's build something we're proud of, together! ABOUT WETRAVEL Think of the most incredible adventures imaginable: trekking to Machu Picchu, cycling through Tuscany, or going on a safari in Kenya. For years, the small businesses and local experts who run these trips have been stuck using messy spreadsheets, countless emails, and complicated payment methods. WeTravel is changing that. We build the tools that empower any entrepreneur to launch and grow their own travel business. Our platform makes it simple for organizers to create beautiful trip proposals, securely process payments, and manage their customers, so they can focus on what they do best: creating amazing experiences. This is one of the last great frontiers of travel to come online, and as the category leader, we are at the forefront of this change. Last year alone, our platform was trusted by 8,000 organizers to lead over a million travelers on adventures in 150+ countries. Now, we’re on an exciting journey to grow from powering $1B to $10B in travel experiences per year. We believe that every trip, when done right, can be a force for good - and we’re building the engine to make more of that possible. WHAT’S THE ROLE Many organizers who use WeTravel are small to medium size businesses that start their journey with a lot of passion for the travel itself. Such businesses face a lot of challenges, as they need to learn to operate efficiently, get good at juggling a ton of different pre-trip activities, and, of course, understand how to grow their businesses. Our team helps such organizers tackle the complexities, and growth pains. To facilitate our organizers' growth we build a framework that provides them good visibility, intuitive workflows, and a bunch of (AI powered) automations that make their life easier. You’ll join us to bring this framework to the next level, leading projects, and building systems that will help the organizers focus on the right thing, streamline their daily activities, and grow their businesses. A few upcoming projects that will help us make it happen: - CRM: as we continue building & defining our CRM vision, we will build a set of tools that help organizers collect and convert leads / returning customers in an efficient manner - Organizer dashboard: in this project, we’ll define, and implement dashboard that guides organizers through their important activities, and help them run their businesses in a more effective manner, by utilizing WeTravel platform capabilities to the max - Tasks Management: this project will let organizers focus on creating the best experience for their customers, by making sure everything else runs smoothly in the background. Tasks will enable organizers to never miss an opportunity, or make sure important information is up to date - all through smart workflows & intuitive set-up Our success in this domain will both make WeTravel an irreplaceable tool for day-to-day operations, as well as will drive the growth of our organizers, by giving them access to data insights, and helping them engage their leads, and past customers effectively.
