About the role
About Keboola
Keboola is the governed data and AI platform companies use when bolting AI onto the old stack stops working. We help ambitious mid-market and enterprise teams take real cost and cycle-time out of the business — starting with one high-ROI process — and leave their people able to run it without us.
We don’t hire for another chatbot bolted onto last decade’s SaaS. We hire people who rebuild how companies operate: people, process, and systems — so software adapts to how work should run, not the other way around.
About the role
This role is based in Prague and is office-based 5 days a week when you’re not with customers, with client travel as needed. You’ll report to the Chief Customer Transformations Officer. Level: Mid–Senior Consultant. Working-level Czech and English are required.
You own client AI transformation workstreams end-to-end, and ideally your own P&L: from first diagnosis and value map → prioritized process rebuild → governed data/AI foundation on Keboola → enablement so the client’s team can run without you.
You are the person in the room who can talk to a CFO and sit with operators and builders — designing the engagement, delivering value-based outcomes (cost out, cycle-time, quality), and bringing in the next deal. When it’s the faster way to deliver, you also roll up your sleeves and make code changes with your AI coding agent.
Time split: about 60% delivery, 40% new business. You bring your own pipeline and close your own deals.
Remuneration: fixed base pay plus commission on new deals you bring in and on customer projects you deliver.
What you’ll do
• Diagnose where AI creates value across the client’s value chain; cut hype from what pays in ~90 days.
• Design and run transformation engagements: workshops, hands-on enablement, and multi-week delivery programs.
• Rebuild concrete processes (ops, finance, sales, HR, support, engineering) around trusted company knowledge and AI agents — not UI-locked vendor workflows.
• Stand up governed foundations on Keboola (and the client’s warehouse stack) so people and agents share one source of how work actually runs.
• Facilitate change: stakeholders, ownership, risk, and human-approval guardrails so trust scales with automation.
• Coach client teams to independence; measure ROI per process and kill what doesn’t pay.
• Capture patterns into reusable playbooks and offers; feed learning back into Keboola product and services.
• Train Keboola partners to understand and deliver this transformation approach themselves, using practical delivery lessons and playbooks.
• Build and own your pipeline: source, scope, propose, and close new engagements.
• Run value-based delivery: agree measurable client outcomes up front and price and report against them.
• Own the commercial result of your engagements (ideally your own P&L).
What success looks like (first 12 months)
• Multiple client workstreams delivered with clear before/after (cost, time, quality, or FTE-equivalent).
• At least one referenceable transformation story the practice can reuse.
• Client teams running without you on the processes you rebuilt.
• A self-generated pipeline and closed deals that keep your book of work full.
• Healthy margin on the engagements you own.
• Playbooks and workshop assets improved from real delivery, not theory.
Required (we will specifically evaluate)
• 4+ years in management consulting, digital / data transformation, professional services, or an in-house transformation / CoE role — or equivalent evidence of owning complex change with measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to facilitate executives and delivery teams; excellent structured communication in Czech and English at working level.
• A track record of generating your own pipeline and closing consulting or services deals.
• Experience with value-based delivery, where engagements are scoped and measured on client outcomes.
• Experience translating ambiguous business pain into scoped engagements, milestones, and ROI hypotheses.
• Hands-on with modern AI tooling (you don’t need to be an ML researcher; you do need to know what’s real vs demo, and use tools in real work).
• Bias to shipping: workshops and decks matter, but you judge yourself on live processes, not slides.
• Based in Prague and working from the office 5 days a week when not on site with customers.
Nice to have
• Another CEE language for local client work.
• P&L ownership for a practice, team, or portfolio of engagements.
• Prior work with Keboola, Snowflake / BigQuery / Databricks / Fabric, or similar governed data stacks.
• Change management, operating-model design, or value-chain mapping experience.
• Built or run agentic workflows, internal tools, or “replace the SaaS UI” style rebuilds.
• Workshop design / adult learning / enablement experience.
• Industry depth in finance, retail, logistics, or mid-market ops.
This role is not for you if
• You want to be a pure ML researcher or model trainer — we rebuild how companies operate; we don’t train frontier models for clients.
• You prefer multi-year SI programs with status packs and no production cutover.
• You’re looking for a body-shop staffing role with no ownership of outcomes.
• You want to consult without hands-on delivery.
• You want delivery only and expect someone else to bring the deals.
• You want a remote or hybrid role.
• You need a fully settled playbook before you can move — this work invents with clients in the open.
How we work
• AI-empowered transformation: we use AI in our own delivery, not just recommend it to clients.
• Governed from day one: roles, rules, approvals — agents beside people, not shadow IT.
• Client data stays in their world where it should.
• We transform how clients work; we are not a body shop.
• Direct, high-agency culture: prove, don’t argue; say it straight.
