Corporate Sales is verticalized with a focus on the Fortune 1000 across Life Sciences, Technology, Media and Telecom, Energy and Industrials, Consulting, and Consumer Packaged Goods. Within Corporate Sales, our Strategic Accounts team is charged with our largest, most complex, top-tier logos — driving both new logo acquisition and deep expansion within named strategic accounts where AlphaSense has the greatest opportunity to become an enterprise-wide standard. About the Role: We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven, and coachable new business sales professional to join our growing Strategic Accounts team as an Associate Account Executive. Working under the direction of a Global Account Director, you will contribute to a larger team quota while learning from senior sales leaders and subject matter experts who sell into some of the world's most influential companies. This is an opportunity to build on your existing sales experience, develop the skills to manage complex enterprise sales cycles, and sell an award-winning, AI-driven product experiencing rapid adoption across every industry vertical. The person in this role will make a meaningful contribution to the company's growth and future success. Who You Are: • Ready for the next step: You have a track record of success in a SaaS or non-SaaS sales environment and want to grow into complex, enterprise-level selling. • Strategic and curious: You know the right questions to ask and how to uncover business challenges at all levels of an organization, from Analysts to senior executives. • A hunter: You constantly drive pipeline through your own efforts, in addition to the support of our SDR and Marketing teams. • A strong communicator: You can explain complex data and concepts to a non-technical audience, and you are a storyteller who can communicate present and future value to folks at all levels of an organization. • Hard-working and tenacious: You bring a 'never give up' attitude and thrive in a highly motivated, winning culture where you can be creative to get things done. • Coachable: You will advance your career through robust training and development programs at AlphaSense. Openness to feedback and a desire for constant improvement are key to success here. • Understands the "science of sales": You see sales as both art and science and can articulate what activity leads to success. • Bonus points: Experience in a fast-scaling SaaS environment, selling to research professionals within the Corporate market, or selling into Fortune 100 and other top-tier strategic accounts. What You’ll Do: • End-to-End Sales Ownership: In partnership with a Global Account Director and a team of Associate Account Executives, own the sales process across your named strategic accounts, targeting stakeholders in Corporate Strategy, Market and Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, and Investor Relations. • Prospecting & Pipeline: Research opportunities, prospect, initiate discussions, build relationships, conduct demos, manage product trials, and most importantly: close deals. Partner with our SDR and Marketing teams on account-based prospecting plans to drive pipeline. • Strategic Account Planning: Map large, matrixed organizations, identify whitespace across business units, and build multi-threaded relationships up to senior stakeholders. • Forecasting: Forecast accurately and develop the pipeline necessary to meet or exceed quota. • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with our Product Specialist team during trials to drive client engagement and ultimate purchase, and with Account Management to ensure customer health and close sourced upsell and cross-sell opportunities. • Voice of the Customer: Gather and share product feedback from clients and prospects with the sales and product teams to help us continually enhance our offerings.
