About the Role We’re looking for a new business Account Executive to grow AlphaSense’s presence across the investment industry. You’ll own a territory (EMEA), create pipeline and win new clients by understanding how investment teams research opportunities and make decisions. This is a role for someone who enjoys prospecting, opening doors and managing a sale from first conversation to close. You’ll work with Sales Development Representatives and Product Specialists, while taking personal ownership of your pipeline and results. Who You Are • A proven new business seller: You have at least two years of SaaS sales experience, a record of meeting or exceeding acquisition targets, and the ability to build pipeline through your own prospecting. • Experienced in the investment industry: You have sold into investment firms and understand the needs of buy-side or sell-side clients. You’re comfortable speaking with analysts, associates, portfolio managers and senior decision makers. • Consultative and curious: You ask good questions, uncover how prospects work today and connect their challenges to a clear business case. • Confident with product-led sales: You can deliver effective demonstrations, manage multiple trials and use feedback to move opportunities forward. • Organised and resilient: You manage a territory and competing priorities well, maintain an accurate forecast and keep momentum through complex sales cycles. • Open to learning: You seek feedback, develop your product and industry knowledge, and communicate technical capabilities in straightforward terms. What You’ll Do • Own the full sales cycle for new business across your territory, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close. • Build a consistent pipeline through targeted outreach, account research and partnership with Sales Development Representatives. • Win new clients across hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, private equity firms and other investment organisations. • Run discovery conversations and product demonstrations that show how AlphaSense’s AI-powered research capabilities fit each prospect’s workflow. • Partner with Product Specialists to plan and manage trials, engage users and decision makers, and turn product value into a compelling case for purchase. • Maintain a clear view of your pipeline, forecast accurately and work consistently toward your sales targets. • Share what you learn from prospects with colleagues across Sales and Product to help improve how we serve the investment industry.
