Associate Talent Lead - Commercial

OUR MISSION: Omnea is the agentic operating system for procurement. Procurement touches every pound a business spends, yet requests still stall for weeks and approvals get lost in inboxes. Our AI-first platform changes that: our agents capture requests, route approvals, onboard suppliers, flag risk and track every renewal, while anyone in the business can ask a question and get an answer grounded in their own company’s data. Buying becomes painless for everyone, procurement gets a seat at the table, and our customers have saved more than 100,000 hours of manual work so far. Companies like Spotify, PayPal, T. Rowe Price, JustEat, Adyen and S&P Global run procurement on Omnea. We’re backed by $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners and Accel, and we’ve been named the UK’s number one startup in the Startups 100, ranked 11th on Sifted’s 2026 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, and recognised as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies. Talent density matters more to us than almost anything else. We keep the bar high in every team, so everyone here has real ownership and real impact. Our team is full of former founders and operators who’ve scaled unicorns, and we’re looking for people who want to do the best work of their careers alongside them. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Omnea is scaling fast after raising our Series B in September 2025, and our Commercial Associate (CA) programme is the engine behind it. CAs build pipeline in their territory through events, cold outreach and cold calling, help on live enterprise deals, and earn a fast, meritocratic track to Account Executive. Many of our best AEs started as CAs. We're hiring an Associate Talent Lead – Commercial to own the top of the funnel for CA hiring in New York. You'll report to our Head of Talent and work side by side with our GTM leadership, including our CCO and SVP Sales. This is a hands-on, high-volume role. Your job is to find the people other recruiters miss: hungry, scrappy, high-intensity early-career talent who have done something harder than their peers, and to get them excited about the hardest, most rewarding first sales job they'll ever have. We're building a very different kind of talent function, one focused on quality and care rather than volume for its own sake. If you want to learn recruiting inside a company that treats hiring as its most important lever, this is the seat. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? - You'll own the CA pipeline in New York. You'll map talent pools, run sourcing campaigns and manage outreach at scale. The best CAs often don't come from sales: think early-stage startup operators, competitive athletes, consulting and banking analysts who want real ownership, and people who've built side hustles. You'll become the person who knows where to find them. - You'll run the first conversation. You'll screen candidates for the traits that predict success at Omnea: killer instinct, scrappiness, work ethic, charisma and composure. You'll use our structured scorecards, and you'll walk away from every great screen rooting for that candidate. - You'll keep the process fast and personal. You'll coordinate the sales interview, challenge and final rounds, keep candidates warm between stages, and make sure nobody waits on us. A slow process loses great people; you won't let that happen. - You'll write outreach like a salesperson. You'll craft personalised messages that cut through noise and make a passive candidate want to reply. You'll test, measure and iterate on what converts. - You'll help build our employer brand in the US. You'll work with the team on CA dinners, university and community events, and investor and referral networks to make Omnea the place ambitious early-career sellers want to start. - You'll learn fast. You'll sit alongside senior GTM leaders and an experienced talent team, calibrating on what "great" looks like and building the judgement to grow into a full-cycle recruiter. ABOUT YOU - You've got 3–5 years in recruiting, sourcing, sales development or another target-driven role, ideally at a high-growth startup or agency. Experience hiring SDRs, BDRs or early-career GTM talent is a strong plus, but we care more about how you work than where you've been. - You're relentless and you love the hunt. You get energy from finding the one great person in a sea of profiles, and you'll make the extra call, send the extra message and go to the extra event to get there. - You're scrappy. You don't wait for inbound. You find creative ways to reach people, and you've built or hustled something yourself, whether that's a side project, a club, a team or a career pivot. - You can spot talent. You're curious about people, you read them well, and you can tell the difference between polish and real drive. You probe for specific moments, not adjectives. - You're a clear, persuasive communicator. You write outreach people actually reply to, and you can sell a hard, high-upside role honestly and with energy. - You're organised and you nail the basics. You manage a high-volume pipeline without dropping a ball, keep the ATS clean, and leverage AI throughout your process. - You're coachable and hungry to grow. You seek feedback, act on it quickly, and want to become a world-class recruiter. - And you're simply a great human. You're collaborative, kind, low-ego. You want to win, but not at others' expense. At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else!
